♦ BUILDING COMMITTEE Except the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Psalm 127:1 The Building Committee assists the Pastor through the programming, design, and construction process. The DoO serves as Co-Chair of the Building Committee. The entire membership becomes involved in the building process by serving on various sub-committees along the journey.
♦ CHURCH STORE But remember the Lord you God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today. The NBBC Store offers a variety of church paraphernalia, as well as, practical sundries, books, and sundries. Along with our vending machines, the NBBC store is a great quick stop for healthy (and not so healthy) between service snacks. The member or visitor can purchase various NBBC brand items and media, including Pastor Weah’s sermons on both CD and DVD. ♦ COMMUNICATIONS The Communications Ministry manages and directs internal and external NBBC communications. This ministry creates innovative strategies to keep members informed, and the world aware of what God is doing in and through NBBC. Marketing Social Media Website
♦ CONGREGATIONAL CARE “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:34-35) The Congregational Care Ministry serves the NBBC family by providing nurture, encouragement and support for the specific needs and personal struggles of the congregation.
♦ CHILDREN, YOUTH, YOUNG ADULTS (CYYA) “Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.” Generation NEXT is Generation NOW. The CYYA Ministry involves and engages young people in age- appropriate settings, to learn and love the Christ whom we serve. In age appropriate settings, children, youth, and young adults participate in educational and interactive opportunities to grow in Him, and understand their own potential. ♦ DREAM TEAM “The company of the prophets said to Elisha, “Look, the place where we meet with you is too small for us. Let us go to the Jordan, where each of us can get a pole; and let us build a place there for us to meet. And he said, “Go.” (2 Kings 6:1-2) The Dream Team is responsible for the overall planning and execution of the capital campaign for the Journey to a Dream. This core group is responsible for the development of the campaign plan, advocating the campaign to the public, and organizing and executing the specific goals and initiative of the campaign.
♦ EMPOWERMENT INSTITUTE “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 3:16) The NBBC Empowerment Institute educates and empowers persons to experience a lifelong obedient love relationship with the Lord through the study of His Word. ♦ SHEPHERD’S CARE *By Pastoral Appointment Only “Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you.” The Shepherd’s Care Ministry anticipates and cares for the needs of the Senior Pastor and special guests. This team further plans and leads special pastoral celebrations and appreciations.
